The platform stated the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces. They have suggested members to examine their items and manually change the size if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction. Measurement Approach Updates Earlier, the sizes had both one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10. The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10. With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18. User Accounts Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder". "Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," which is what Vinted now does. A different member, based in Glasgow, said garments she listed with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22. "If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she stated. Necessary Adjustments Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products". "This situation is especially annoying, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she explained. This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: previously, Vinted reversed a change regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
